Teaching Practice phase 2 Weekend Reflection first week

    I was very happy to be a part of Government Vocational Higher Secondary School Kulakkada. It is the second spell of our teaching practice but I feel it is the first day of my teaching practice,  because I met the students after a long leave. In this week we have got only four days because our teaching practice starts on this wednesday. In this week I have got a lot of experiences with my students. I understand the role of effective teacher in teaching field. In this first week I managed the students in a smooth way because some of the disturbing boys were suspended from the school. This week I covered the topics in history, I got the balance of the chapter Bhakti movement where the teacher had left over. I was very happy that I covered the topics correctly according to the lesson templates. I wish this to happen in the coming weeks also.

I took Dr. Y. K. Singh's, teaching of social science to read and for reflection in this 4th sem. I think it is a good book for the teachers to develop. This book presents rhe problems of social study teacher and related to their classroom teaching program. I recommend this book to all social science teachers.
